GREEN TO GOLD: SUSTAINABILITY AND SOCIAL INNOVATION
We'd like to talk about the region's focus on sustainability and its green definition and how it relates to social innovation. We know the public sees these two areas as distinct--are they? If so, should they be? What purpose do we serve when we separate planet from people? Let's have the conversation and consider how we might make a shift in our communications for the better.
"Green to gold" is our way of talking about a number of things: Shifting the concept of "green" to the idea of "good as gold" -- trying to better marry the concepts of people and planet. Also, it means green (money) and gold (good works), which might be better connected. Join us in the debate! Speakers and experts will facilitate discussion and learning.
